They even have one where the pig is only fed chestnut meal and Indian corn... and it's sweet!
The same with Pecorino... we only get this delicious cheese in a better market. Here one has many choices of this cheese!
Italians eat such high quality food, and great quantities of it, and then they walk it all off. Not much incidence of overweight here!
We've been eating so well, last night we elected to dine on only fruit and roast vegetables...and it was still a feast!
This morning we have toured Lucca with a guide who has lived here her whole life, ao we got a deep dive into the history, the pride of place, the rivalry with Pisa and Florence, and the sights. People were already in the cafes for breakfasr. I know people must cook at home sometimes, right??
