Enroute to Beaune, France

We bid the safety and fun of our group tour for the unknown of France. The rail strike looms over us. Today, however, is not a strike day. Up and over the amazing alps of Switzerland we go
Sorry. I'm not sure why this is sideways.
What I didn't expect is the wall to wall vinyards!

We spoke with a wine buyer on the train who noticed our English. He said yeah. The Swiss make much wine, but since the exchange rate is so bad and their internal demand is so high, we never see it.
So, we landed in Beaunne, checked at the train station to get an idea of what to do aboit the strike (still unsure), and basically wandered the town till we found our cute hotel.

We're showered (it's hot and awefully humid), and ready to head out for some adventure, including dinner!
