Beaunne. Tres Bien

French sauntering is VERY different from Italian sauntering! Yes, there's a cafe culture in both, but here it seems to be more about eating amazing food with friends, whereas in Italy (even the small towns) it's just as much about being seen and checking out what others are wearing. 

So, we fit right in here!

I forgot to take a picture of my escargot which came first, also forgot to photo the amazing cheese plate that came after, or the creme brulee I ended with. 

Sometime during all this, it started to rain! Sure put a damper (ha) on all the great dog watching. This town loves Frenchies!

It was literally an answer to prayer when the rain stopped just as we were finishing desert! 

Tomorrow we have a wine tour booked...I'm very much looking forward!
