A procession comes to the Duomo in mid evil dress, horns, and flags!
Wow, what a procession! We followed them into the Duomo for a mass...what a sight, complete with incense and music that filled this huge cathedral!
After the mass we positioned ourselves outside where the flag throwers preformed along with their drummers. Such pageantry!
What a fantastic event, right in front of a glowing Duomo! On the way back to the hotel we ran back into the parade coming back to the Duomo. Scrat wanted to follow them, but we're sure he would have gotten in trouble.
Tomorrow morning the corpreal body comes out of it's home, we're planning on getting up really early to see it. So....to bed for us, it's late already!
Oh...one more...here's our view from our picnic dinner, described earlier but with limoncello added. It looks out from the tuffa town into and across the valley over more of Umbria...simply beautiful!
