We pretty much hit the ground sightseeing after getting a map from our very cool hotel right nect to Checkpoint Charlie. The hotel faces where the Berlin wall was.
So...here's a few pics from today. Many places we'll revisit tomorrow during our planned bicycle tour, but it was really fun to get a good outlay of the city!

Alexander Platz TV tower..by far the tallest structure in Berlin.
The transit system here is amazing and very easy to use. We hoped between above geound busses and underground U bahns thanks to a handy map. So now we're exhaused and have come back to our hotel for a ibuprofen cocktail, showers (it's about 78 degrees with literally 32% humidity...nice after Frankfurt's 96% humidity!!
Ok...my turn for the shower, then out for dinner we go!
